You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return for any unused Strain Guard unit. After 30 days, our standard 1-year limited warranty still applies for defective units — see our Terms of Sale.
Returned units should be unused and in their original packaging. If a unit shows signs of installation or field use, we can only accept it under warranty (defect or manufacturing issue). Cosmetic packaging wear from normal shipping is fine.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe. If your original card is no longer active, we'll work with you and Stripe to find an alternate method.
We cover the return shipping for defective units and for orders where we made an error (wrong item, damaged in transit, etc.). For change-of-mind returns, the customer covers the return shipping (typically $7-$10 via USPS).
Ordered the 30A but need the 50A (or vice versa)? Email us — we'll help you exchange for the correct model.
If your package arrives damaged, take a photo of the box before opening it and email sales@strainguard.com within 48 hours. We'll ship a replacement immediately and file a claim with the carrier ourselves.
Every Strain Guard is backed by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If your unit fails during normal use within that period, we will repair or replace it at no charge. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, modification, or use outside its intended application. See our Terms of Sale for complete warranty terms.
Beta unit purchases carry the same 1-year limited warranty as regular units. If we contact you for optional feedback, participation is entirely voluntary and does not affect your right to return or replace the unit.
